Performance & Advantages of Frosted Quartz Sheets-Sara

Published On: July 24, 2026

Frosted quartz sheets are manufactured from high-purity fused silica raw material, processed with precise surface sandblasting or chemical etching to form a uniform matte frosted surface. Combining the inherent merits of quartz glass and diffuse optical characteristics, they are widely adopted in optical instrumentation, semiconductor testing, lighting equipment, laboratory reaction vessels and industrial sensing fields.

1.Frosted quartz maintains stable physical properties under continuous working temperature up to 1100°C, featuring outstanding thermal shock resistance. It can withstand rapid temperature changes without cracking.

2.The evenly frosted surface achieves uniform light scattering, effectively eliminating glare and forming soft, homogeneous light transmission. It serves as an ideal light homogenizing component for optical lighting systems.

3.Made of clear fused quartz with ultra-low impurity content. The extremely low coefficient of thermal expansion guarantees high dimensional stability under temperature fluctuation.

4.Inert to most acids, alkalis and chemical solvents at normal and moderate high temperatures. It resists chemical erosion far better than ordinary glass.

5.Great electrical insulation performance. Outstanding transmittance in ultraviolet, visible and infrared bands; the frosted layer will not easily yellow or degrade under long-term UV irradiation.
