Client Profile

An Indian third‑party laboratory engaged in chemical analysis, precious‑metal testing and material R&D. The client previously used local borosilicate glass and expensive imported quartz ware.

Client Pain points

  1. Borosilicate glass causes metal ion leakage under high‑temperature acid conditions and distorts test results.
  2. Imported quartz beakers are costly with long delivery cycles.
  3. Local quartz products suffer high breakage rates due to poor annealing.

Requirements

Mixed‑size quartz beakers (50 ml‑2000 ml): high purity, low bubble, good thermal shock resistance; trial‑order acceptable; full set of export documents and material certificates required.

Project Process

  1. Inquiry & communication: The client pushed for sharp price cuts comparing with low‑end local goods. We introduced product specifications and hidden risks of inferior products instead of direct price concessions.
  2. Sample validation: Samples with material reports were sent by DHL. After heating and acid‑soaking tests in‑house, the client confirmed satisfactory performance.
  3. First trial order: Mixed‑spec batch produced with strict annealing & visual inspection. Goods were packed in plywood export cases to prevent breakage during sea transit. Complete CI, PL and material certificates were provided for customs clearance.
  4. Repeat business: The client reported low breakage rate and stable test data. Repeat orders followed, including customized heavy‑wall beakers. Though no fixed annual volume commitment was given, purchasing quantity kept growing.
