An Indian third‑party laboratory engaged in chemical analysis, precious‑metal testing and material R&D. The client previously used local borosilicate glass and expensive imported quartz ware.
Client Pain points
- Borosilicate glass causes metal ion leakage under high‑temperature acid conditions and distorts test results.
- Imported quartz beakers are costly with long delivery cycles.
- Local quartz products suffer high breakage rates due to poor annealing.
Requirements
Mixed‑size quartz beakers (50 ml‑2000 ml): high purity, low bubble, good thermal shock resistance; trial‑order acceptable; full set of export documents and material certificates required.
Project Process
- Inquiry & communication: The client pushed for sharp price cuts comparing with low‑end local goods. We introduced product specifications and hidden risks of inferior products instead of direct price concessions.
- Sample validation: Samples with material reports were sent by DHL. After heating and acid‑soaking tests in‑house, the client confirmed satisfactory performance.
- First trial order: Mixed‑spec batch produced with strict annealing & visual inspection. Goods were packed in plywood export cases to prevent breakage during sea transit. Complete CI, PL and material certificates were provided for customs clearance.
- Repeat business: The client reported low breakage rate and stable test data. Repeat orders followed, including customized heavy‑wall beakers. Though no fixed annual volume commitment was given, purchasing quantity kept growing.
