Quartz Glass Tube Application
Quartz Glass tubes are widely used in all kinds of lights, such as sterilization lamp, mercury lamp, metal halide lanmp, diffusiion tube, protestion tube, optical instrument, sight glass, observation window for furnace, semiconductor, photoelectron, military insductry, metallurgy and water treatment.
HIGH TEMPERATURE RESISTANT
Quartz glass hardening temperature about 1730℃.
Can be used for a long time under 1100℃.
The highest temperature can reach 1450℃.
GOOD PERVIOUS TO LIGHT
Quartz glass has good transmittance in all spectral bands from purple to red.
The visible light transmittance is above 93% specially in the ultraviolet spectral region.
And the maximum transmittance is over 80%.
CORROSION RESISTANT
In addition to hydrofluoric acid, quartz glass has no chemical reaction withother acid. Its acid resistance is 30 times that of Ceramic.150 times that of stainless steel Especially the chemical stability at low temperature.
Which can not be compared with any other engineering materials.
GOOD THERMAL STABILITY
