- Good Thermal Stability: The thermal contraction coefficient of quartz glass can withstand severe temperature changes. Quartz glass heated to 1100℃ will not burst when placed in cold water.
- Good Light Transmission: Quartz glass has good transmittance in all spectral bands from purple to red. The visible light transmittance is above 93%, specially in the ultraviolet spectral region where the maximum transmittance is over 80%.
- Good Electrical Insulation: The resistance of quartz glass is 10,000 times that of ordinary materials and has good electrical performance even at low temperatures.
